Asbestos Roof Tiles and Slates Lifespan

It’s generally expected that asbestos roof sheets will have a lifespan of approximately 40 years and asbestos cement tiles between 60 and 85 years. There are many roofs now where they have exceeded their life expectancy and now starting to fail, introducing water ingress to buildings, and causing water damage to equipment or the building structure itself.
