ID Asbestos holds a full 3-year HSE licence to undertake work with asbestos, the maximum duration a company can obtain under UK legislation. Using a licenced asbestos removal company ensures that any work carried out, is completed following current regulations and legal obligations.
ARCA (Asbestos Removal Contractors Association)
ID Asbestos are full members of the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association. ARCA are dedicated to promoting safety and professionalism within the licensed asbestos removal industry within the UK. Using an accredited ARCA member like ID Asbestos, gives clients reassurances that any asbestos work is undertaken to an extremely high standard.
Quality Assurance Award (ARCA)
As an accredited member of ARCA, ARCA will undertake unannounced site visits on licensed work which has been notified to the HSE. When on site, an ARCA assessor will carry out an audit on our staff, documentation, quality of workmanship and compliance to current regulations.
ISO 9001 Certification
ID Asbestos are compliant with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 which is a set of standards that relate to quality management systems which are put in place to assist organisations, ensuring that we meet the needs of our customers and stake holders. The standards are published by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization and are available through National standards bodies.
ISO 14001 Certification
ID Asbestos are also compliant with the requirements of ISO 14001: 2015 which is a standard for environmental management systems, the aim of the standard is to reduce the environmental footprint of a business and to decrease the pollution and waste a business produces.
Waste Carriers Licence
By law, businesses that transport and dispose of waste must be registered with the Environment Agency. ID Asbestos Ltd has a Certificate of Registration under the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 as an upper tier waste carrier, broker and dealer. This means we can collect, carry and dispose of your waste in our asbestos waste vehicles.
