What is the ARCA Gold Site Audit Award?

The Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA) is the leading trade body for licensed asbestos removal companies in the UK. As ARCA members, our removal team undergoes rigorous training, participates in unannounced site audits, and is continuously monitored to ensure we maintain the highest standards of health and safety, environmental compliance, and professional performance. ID Asbestos is also accredited with other bodies, including the HSE , and holds ISO 9001 and 14001 , ensuring all our projects meet recognised industry standards.

The ARCA Gold Site Audit Award recognises asbestos removal companies that consistently maintain high standards on site. Each year, ARCA carries out unannounced site audits across all member companies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

To qualify, companies must achieve an average grade of B or higher across all audits, with no prohibition notices or prosecutions for asbestos work during the qualifying period. Grades of A or B are required for “non-live” works. This rigorous process ensures that only companies with proven expertise and professionalism receive the Gold Award. We are incredibly proud to announce that we achieved an overall Grade A for the full audit, reflecting strong performance across all assessed areas.
